Clinton Historical Society to meet this week
The Clinton Historical Society will hold its annual meeting and potluck dinner Saturday.
It will be at 6 p.m. in the Clinton Presbyterian Church. Stephen Johnson, the artist creating a sculpture for the museum grounds, will be the guest speaker.
The society’s 2009 officers will be presented. They are: Judy Pierson, president; Jane Edmonds, vice president; Dale Brueggeman, treasurer; and Betty Gaines, secretary.
The program is being presented in part by the Kansas Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
