Have you been laid off? Can’t make your mortgage payments or can’t sell your house?

If you are having a tough time during this economic recession, the Journal-World would like to hear from you. We want to tell the stories of people who are especially affected by the economic downturn the nation is going through now.

The Journal-World is publishing a series of stories about the economy on a quarterly basis. If you don’t mind being interviewed about how you are dealing with economic situations please call reporter Mike Belt at 832-7165, or send an e-mail to him at mbelt@ljworld.com. Include your name and how he can contact you.

I have a real sob story for you . . . .as an American taxpayer, I am being forced to give tens of thousands (very conservative estimate) of my hard-earned dollars to bureaucrats to distribute to whom ever they deem "needy" (mostly multi-billion dollar cooperations or political causes) . . . .Or you can do a story on my future children or grandchildren who are drowning in debt before they are even born! I bet that story won't fit the template. Please, wake up America. When did our currency become monopoly money and trillions of dollars too important to debate?

Yep thats it, lets get our main street America doom and gloom picture put to words. Why do we want to publish the hardships of the economy? Why not focus on what could be done or what good has happened in town
