KSU-Alabama game might air on Channel 6

Fans of Kansas State basketball — or of Alabama, for that matter — might be able to catch the KSU-‘Bama game in Lawrence after all.

Late Friday, Sunflower Broadband learned that the game feed might be available in Kansas and was working to get today’s 8 p.m. game for broadcast on Channel 6. As of Friday night, the effort was still on-going, Sunflower general manager Rod Kutemeier said.

If Sunflower is successful in getting the game, it will air on Sunflower Broadband’s Channel 6, in place of regular programming. Sunflower advised interested customers to check sunflowerbroadband.com for the latest information on whether Channel 6 would air the game.

Sunflower Broadband is owned by The World Company, which also publishes the Lawrence Journal-World.
