Emporia State honors scholars

The 2009-10 class of Capitol Federal Savings Scholars in Emporia State University’s School of Business was honored with a luncheon Dec. 8 at ESU’s Sauder Alumni Center.

The scholarship, reserved for business students from Kansas high schools who maintain a 3.25 grade-point average, is in its eighth year at ESU. The students were joined by ESU President Michael R. Lane and representatives of Capitol Federal Savings.

Olson Kilmer of Lawrence, a junior, was named one of the Capitol Federal Savings Scholars for the 2009-2010 academic year.
