A one-car accident, which killed a Topeka man, produced the county’s 15th traffic fatality of the year. Law enforcement people were emphasizing the need for greatly increased caution with the holiday period coming and weather conditions expected to be hazardous. The 15-death total was uncharacteristic for the county.
