‘Coping With Holiday Grief’ sessions rescheduled due to winter warning
Due to the winter storm warning, Heart of America Hospice has rescheduled its Dec. 8 “Coping With Holiday Grief” sessions.
The sessions will be Tuesday, Dec. 22. The first one will be at 10:30 a.m. at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community, 4851 Harvard Road. The second one will be at 6 p.m. at the Heart of America Hospice Office, 1420 Wakarusa Drive.
David Jenkins, bereavement coordinator, said the sessions will provide:
• New ways of approaching problems that may arise during the holidays.
• Ways to restore meaning to the holidays.
• Resources to counter the sense of isolation so common during this time of year.
