Take the chance
To the editor:
Lance Johnson must be a fellow traveler out there among the countless other Lawrence residents, including my family. We visit other towns and cities, noting the unique shopping, the ideas outside the box, the large number of people making their way to enjoy such creative uses of space. We imagine all the possibilities for our wonderful community of Lawrence, ideas that can only happen if we take the challenge and take the chance.
Sign me up as someone who would love to see a downtown which offered the ability to incorporate a pedestrian area for music, performance or art, all surrounded by the best shopping and restaurants Lawrence has to offer.
