Missouri student earns 2 perfect scores
Columbia, Mo. ? A Columbia high school student has achieved perfect scores on both the ACT and SAT.
Alan Hatfield also has a a summer internship at the University of Missouri’s Center for Geospatial Intelligence.
Alan earned the perfect 36 on the ACT and 2400 on the SAT during his second attempt at the tests in June.
The first time he took the ACT, he earned a 35. His first SAT score was a 2240.
After high school, the 17-year-old plans to study public policy at an East Coast school, serve in the Peace Corps for two years and then attend graduate school for public policy.
He eventually wants to start a think tank focused on humanitarian efforts.
