Conrad Roberts shot a 3-over 75 and won the weekly Jayhawk Golf Club tournament Sunday at Alvamar. Van Reichert and Mike Naegele followed at 80 and 82, respectively. In net scoring, Chris Anderson was low with a 73, followed by Curt Anderson at 74 and Mike Farve at 76.

Youth Football Camp: Lawrence High and Free State football coaches Dirk Wedd and Bob Lisher will conduct a camp for youths entering grades 3-9 on June 22-25 at Free State. Brochures are available at elementary schools. For information call Wedd at 832-5050 or Lisher at 832-6050.

KU Conference: Kansas Athletics Inc. will conduct the Midwest Sports Performance Conference on May 8-9 at the Anderson Center. Emphasis will be on preparing an athlete to compete in any sport at any level. A total of 20 sports science professionals will be presenters. Kaw Valley Force: The Kaw Valley Force U-9 Girls Stars played two games last weekend in the Heartland Premier League in Olathe. The Kaw Valley Stars won both, defeating the BV Storm, 3-2, and the BV Estrela, 4-1.

Players for the team are Cameron Buzhardt, Mia Romano, Mary Carr, Riley Occhipinto, Megan Fast, Cailey Occhipinto, Maria Duncan, Maya Hodison, Audrey Kaufman, Amelia Murray, Abi Hummel and Julia Larkin. The team is coached by Riny de Boer.
