Ochoa holds one-shot edge

Morelia, Mexico — Defending champion Lorena Ochoa shot a 4-under 69 in windy conditions Saturday to take a one-stroke lead over Norway’s Suzann Pettersen into the final round of the LPGA Tour’s Corona Championship.

Kelly tops Zurich by three

New Orleans — Jerry Kelly shot a bogey-free 3-under 69 to take a three-stroke lead over Steve Marino after the third round of the Zurich Classic. Kelly had a 13-under 203 total at TPC Louisiana. Marino shot a 68. Rod Pampling (68), Aaron Watkins (69), Charles Howell III (70), John Rollins (71) and Charlie Wi (71) were 9 under.

Roberts, Wiebe take lead

Savannah, Ga. — The birdie-fest continued under near perfect conditions at the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, with a few eagles and the event’s first double-eagle tossed in Saturday.

Loren Roberts and Mark Wiebe reeled off five birdies and an eagle over the final nine holes for a better-ball 61 and 125 total, a stroke ahead of John Cook and Joey Sindelar (63) at The Club at Savannah Harbor.

Els five strokes back

Jeju Island, South Korea — Robert-Jan Derksen of the Netherlands struggled in swirling winds and cold conditions, shooting a 3-over-par 75 on Saturday, but still held a two-stroke lead after the third round of the Ballantine’s Championship. Ernie Els was in a five-way tie for sixth after a 73, five shots back of Derksen.
