The start of tonight’s 6 p.m. Kansas University baseball game against Nebraska at Hoglund Ballpark has been delayed because of a tornado warning in effect for Douglas Country that expired around 6:35 p.m.

No new time has been given for a potential first pitch as KU officials are waiting for weather to move through the area before making the call.

In addition, the start time for the second game of a KU softball double header against Baylor has been pushed back to 8 p.m.

KU won the first game, 7-3.
