Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St., will be closed until Tuesday for a plumbing repair.

The center announced the closing late Friday afternoon. Weekend programs have been canceled.

Patrons who wanted to visit the center are instead encouraged to take to the trails of Prairie Park and Mary’s Lake, discovering nature firsthand.
