Kansas City, Mo. ? A suburban Kansas City high school student has broken a 25-year-old national record for the high jump by going 7 feet, 53/4 inches at the Winnetonka Invitational. Grandview High School junior James White, who is only 5-foot-10, set the national high school record for the high jump Tuesday.
