Law enforcement report

• Lawrence police arrested a 22-year-old Lawrence man on charges of rape, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, intimidation of a victim, criminal restraint and domestic battery at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday morning. Bond for the rape charge was set at $30,000, but no bond was set for the aggravated burglary charge. No additional details could be provided Wednesday night.

• A fire alarm Wednesday forced the evacuation of Prairie Park School, 2711 Kensington Road.

Students and staff were evacuated from the school when the alarm sounded over the lunch hour.

Firefighters responded and determined there was no fire.

School staff believe the alarm malfunction was caused by dust settling in a smoke detector.
