Kansas University sophomore T.J. Walz was selected as the Big 12 Conference’s Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 6.

Walz pitched a complete game shutout against No. 7 Baylor on Saturday. Walz is tied for the team lead with three wins and no losses this season. He has a 3.00 earned-run average with 10 walks and 37 strikeouts in 39 innings.
