Stuffed animal crafts to aid diabetes research

Noah's Ark Animal Workshop will join with Lawrence residents to help raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk for the Cure at 4 p.m. Oct. 5.

Family members can stuff their own preselected animals at the workshop for a cost of $15 with a portion of the cost being donated to the foundation.

Participants can choose from various animals before the workshop begins. Space is limited.
