Haskell fall enrollment increases 11 percent
Haskell released it's latest enrollment figures on Tuesday.

Student enrollment has grown at Haskell Indian Nations University.
There are 997 students attending Haskell this fall, up 103 students or 11 percent, compared with fall 2007. It's up 17 percent when compared to the spring 2008 enrollment.
"We are pleased that our base of students continues at this level, providing a very desirable ratio of students to faculty," Manny King, Haskell registrar, said in a press release.
There are 767 freshmen and sophomores pursuing an associate's degree and 230 juniors and seniors working on a bachelor's degree.
Some other interesting facts about Haskell, according to the Bureau of Indian Education:
¢ Male students outnumber females 520 to 463.
¢ The largest percentage - 27 percent - are from the Eastern Oklahoma Region. The second largest - 13 percent - is from the Navajo Region in New Mexico.
¢ The average age of all students is 23.
¢ There are 129 students - or 9 percent - who are 30 years old or older.
