Apartment owner sells 4 Lawrence complexes

Mike Stultz this week sold four of his apartment complexes in Lawrence to an out-of-state buyer:

¢ Aberdeen North Apartments, 2300 Wakarusa Drive, a 169-unit, 225-bedroom complex completed in 1998.

¢ Aberdeen South Apartments, 4700 W. 27th St., a 128-unit, 208-bedroom complex built in 2001 and 2004.

¢ Apple Lane Apartments, 1400-1420 Apple Lane, a 75-unit, 75-bedroom complex completed in 1984 and renovated in 2006.

¢ Alvadora Apartments, 5555 W. Sixth St., a 108-unit, 165-bedroom complex completed earlier this year.

The announcement came Thursday from Casey Wilhm, a Lawrence-based broker who handled the deal for Stultz and his ownership entities.

Terms were not disclosed. Wilhm declined to identify the buyer, which he described as a diversified fund from another state with experience in student housing and other multifamily acquisitions.
