Boulder, Colo. ? Kansas University’s volleyball team dropped a five-set decision to Colorado on Wednesday.

Colorado won the Big 12 opener for both teams, 25-18, 26-28, 15-25, 26-24, 15-12.

Karina Garlington had a career-best 24 kills for the Jayhawks (6-4 overall, 0-1 Big 12).

Brittany Williams and Allison Mayfield each had 11 kills for KU.
