I also noted that no name or discription or "last direction of travel" was in this. so, how hard did the police really want to catch this guy? after all, this demonstrates the need to expand the sports facilities at LHS, doesn't it! then the resource officer there could practice running in a bigger space. yeah, I was wondering about 'Donuts! of course, maybe the crook had a big-mac attack. but he avoided the judge at checkers and he knew the monkey at taco juan's would help him!

They'd only have a description of the back of his head.

I was there when it happened at the stop light . I knew he was going to run ., but here is the bad part . the guy gave his cell phone to his friend. and then turned around and put his hands behind his back. as the cop was pulling out his cuffs and talking into the raido he turned his head looked at the cop and took off. now this is what i want to know did they get the phone from his friend or did his friend take off too. if they got the phone get the addresses of all the numbers and get search warrents if not well oops.

just talked to my husband who has been at the LHS since about 2:30 and he didn't even know it was going on. he said they didn't lock down at all.

CC: "What kind of foot are the police looking for? Does it have an Air Jordan on it?"Evidently, authorities have reconvened at the Clinton Dam, where the foot is expected to wash up at any moment.

22 minutes? If this guy's fast enough to outrun the cops, one would think he could pretty much run from one end of lawrence to the other in not much more than that.

and to the original bob-I saw ezekiel at a party not too long ago. he's still around town at least and seems to be getting around on the prosthetic pretty well. that's all i've got.

22 Minutes is that all? Are the LPD officers that out of shape that they cannot continue a foot pursuit for longer than 22 minutes?

once it went from a slow jog to fast paced run the high pursuit rule went into effect for public safety being it was in a school zone. you need to give the officers involved a pat on the back.
