On Saturday, the Lawrence Farmers’ Market will have its first Great Grill-Off between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the market’s tasting tent in the public lot between Eighth and Ninth streets on New Hampshire Street. During the event, local chefs will compete for the title of “Grill Guru” by preparing a meat, vegetable and fruit from the market on the grill. Competing chefs include Ken Baker, executive chef and owner of Pachamama’s, 800 N.H.; Subarna Bhattachan, executive chef and co-owner of ZenZero, 811 Mass., and Rick Martin, executive chef of Free State Brewery, 636 Mass.
