To the editor:

I am curious as to the current data regarding the city and the funding of the Eagle Bend Golf Course. Is the city still funding a portion of the operating expenses of Eagle Bend? If so, what are the current numbers?

We are told the T is not self-sufficient. The city has to fund the difference. We are told that is no longer viable; therefore, the question needs to be put on the ballot in the form of a sales tax to continue/or not the T.

Now for Eagle Bend. Last I heard, the city was funding the difference because the course was not self-sufficient. If that is still the situation, where is the sales tax choice on the ballot to continue (or not) Eagle Bend?

I submit that the continuation (or not) of Eagle Bend be added to the ballot in the same form as the T question. If a sales tax question is good enough to continue (or not) the T, why is a sales tax question not good enough to continue (or not) Eagle Bend?
