During the week more than 1,500 head of horses and cattle have been put through the tanks with some 2,000 more to go. The main tank is on the Selzer farm. : The Haskell Indian baseball team has returned from its summer tours and won 45 out of the 60 games it played. Some of the finest teams in Kansas were defeated by the Indian group and the season will close on a high note. : As many as 4,000 attended the popular Harvest Home Picnic at Brown’s Grove and people continue to rave about what a wonderful time they had. Many popular events were conducted.”
