Lawrence police apprehended a man in northwest Lawrence after he ran away as police attempted to serve a warrant.

Shortly after 5:30 p.m. police tried to arrest the man who fled through a wooded area near Hutton Farms.

He was caught 10 minutes later.

No injuries were reported, but the suspect complained of being pricked by thorns.

No information was available about the man.
