Lawrence Opera House owner Skip Moon said he had secured a loan commitment from University State Bank to pay off an existing mortgage on which Lawrence National Bank was planning to foreclose. The loan was contingent on Moon’s getting commitments from “qualified guarantors” in an amount large enough to make payments, according to Don Johnston, president of University State Bank.
