The Douglas County Community Foundation will conduct an information session today for anyone interested in applying for funding from the Elizabeth Schultz Environmental Fund. The session will begin at 4 p.m. in the gallery room at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

The fund was established in 2005 to support local efforts to preserve and understand nature. Projects may address the fund’s goals in scientific, cultural, educational, aesthetic or economic surveys.
