This week on "Home and Away," the topic is "Windows, What a Pane!"

Host Lori Carson gathers expert advice on window treatment solutions and ideas, including the latest trends and styles in window coverings.

Guest Marlene Witthaus of Windows by Witthaus discusses how window treatments enhance a room's appeal.

"The style of the window treatment can reflect the personality of the room and the personality of the people who live there," says Witthaus, who offers a variety of her designs to viewers in need of a little decorative inspiration. Styles featured run the gamut from formal, multi-layered window treatments to simpler, woven-wood blinds, a fast-growing trend in window coverings.

Trouble-shooting is also tackled during the show. Often times the size, shape or style of windows present a problem in selecting the best window treatment. Solutions for front door side light windows, sliders and patio doors, and dual windows flanking a fireplace are explored.

Home and Away premieres Mondays at 6:30 p.m. on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6. Each show replays at 9:30 p.m. Monday; 9 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday; 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday; 10 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 10:30 a.m. Friday; 10 a.m. Saturday; and 9 p.m. Sunday.

pain, pane or payne or yet payin'! I just can't take the pane anymore, upon reflection. Windows clearly shed light on life, except for the evil blinds drawn to restrict the sun's freedom of expression. Trouble-shooting is also tackled during the show.
