¢ KVSA Food Drive: Kaw Valley Soccer Assn. will conduct its annual food drive on Saturday. Non-perishable items should be taken to the referee shed at Youth Sports Inc. fields from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For information, call Leslie Flowers at 749-5872.

¢ Ninth-Grade Baseball: Two meetings for ninth-grade boys interested in playing for Lawrence High's baseball team next spring will be next week - at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday in Room 103 at South Junior High and at 3:15 p.m. Thursday in Room 403 at Southwest JH. ¢ KSA U-14 Girls Second: Kansas Soccer Academy U-14 girls finished second in Division B of the Governor's Cup as Sunina Upshaw scored three goals and Elena Auer one. Other team members are Ciara Carey, Kylie Dever, Kate Dixon, Tanna Fanshier, Bailey Harrell, Allix Ice, Adriana Jadlow, Ella Magerl, Nicole Marino, Shelby O'Neal, Hannah Rupprecht, Madison Simmons, Mallory Thompson, Abby Wilson and Maddie Woodard.

¢ Roberts Champ: Conrad Roberts carded a one-under 71 and captured the weekly Jayhawk Golf Club tournament Sunday at Alvamar by five strokes over Jack Schwartz and Bud Stagg. In net scoring, Randy Gebhards was low with a 69, followed by Jay Patterson 70 and Bob Bridges 71.
