From the Lawrence Daily World for Oct. 20, 1908: “S.S. Weatherby of Lawrence was one of the lucky winners in the big government drawing today. Weatherby’s number came out at 1836 and that entitles him to a fine quarter section of land in the Rosebud Reservation.”
