On Monday morning, you will find your Journal-World wrapped inside a new section, Go!
Go! is a weekly lifestyle magazine designed to help you sift through the clutter of our fast-paced world. Go! is produced by the Journal-World staff and contributors.
Readers can expect to see lively writing with an attitude, and some fresh new faces.
You'll meet Meghan Bahn, president of the Bad Mommy Club. Members really aren't bad moms, they just like to let their hair down once in a while. You will read their tales.
Ever make a daylong project out of trying to fix a leaky faucet? Well, help is on the way. Linda Cottin, our Fix It Chick, will dissect a household repair job into a few easy steps, complete with pictures.
And as more people develop an eye for fashion watching television shows like "Project Runway," Go! introduces you to our own style expert, Caitlin Donnelly.
All these new faces are Lawrence people.
Besides the Jayhawks, if there is one feature of Lawrence that unites the city it is education. Go! heads inside the classroom for weekly features about our schools, teachers, students and parents.
What makes us tick? Go!'s Mind, Body & Spirit section will focus on ways to tone your body, invigorate your spirit and help you unwind.
So, please welcome Go! And after giving it a read, please tell us what you think.

How long will it last? I don't have faith. Game was awesome while it lasted. Maybe you can add Game features to Go!. I'll pick up a paper on Monday, to check it out.

I wonder how long it took the JLW brain trust to decide it would rip off the name of The Wichita Eagle's lifestyle magazine, also called GO!?

And none of them newfangled pictures either, woodcuts were good enough for my daddy and they're good enough for me.

Okay, let me get this straight.1. An column by and about moms2. A column by a “Fix It Chick”3. Something about fashion and style4. Something about parents/education5. A “Mind, Body & Spirit” section to help you unwindI'm sorry if this sounds sexist or stereotypical, but this sounds like a women's magazine. I'm sure the J-W is aware that half of their readers are male, but I have to wonder. And I really dislike how this magazine is going to come wrapped around the entire Monday paper. Can't even see the headlines without getting rid of this thing.

Got it this AM, took it upstairs to read. Discovered very quickly it was waste of time. A newspaper should be publishing news, not fluff pieces. I'll just do what I've been doing, pull out sports and front page, dump the rest in recycle bin in garage.
