EMU Theatre, a Lawrence-based troupe, is preparing for a series of vignettes focused on horror themes.
"Horrorshow II: An Evening of Hauntings Most Grim and Unexpected" is scheduled for 8 p.m. Oct. 24, 25 30 and 31 at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.
Topics for the show will include greed-filled treasure hunters who get a terrifying surprise, high school friends that have a nasty habit of vanishing into thin air and three haunted spirits who just want their stories to be heard.
The evening will be hosted by EMU and Lawrence Community Theatre veteran David Butterfield. Tickets are $6 at the door.
