University Bridge Club announces results of its Oct. 4 meeting. Hosts were Virginia Williams, Lois Liebert, and John and Willi Stark.

Blue winners were Janet Dunn, first; John Stark, second; Al Smith, third; Walt Hicks, fourth; and Willie Stoltenberg, fifth.

Pink winners were Rhetta Jo Noever, first; Florence McNicoll, second; Jo Anne Kready, third; Willi Stark, fourth; and Cathy Waller, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Oct. 1 was a charity game directed by Chris Lane. The North-South winners were Ed Howard and Vince Nordberg, first; Harry Shaffer and Bobby Patton, second; Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton, third; Wanda Durbin and Suzanne Wassmer, fourth; Lois Clark and Shirley Reese, second in B; and Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel, first in C.

The East West winners were Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges, first; Paul Heitzman and David Piro, second; Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks, third; Mona Bell and Mark Osborn, fourth; and Shari Kentzel and Eldon Herd, fifth.

The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Oct. 3 was a charity game and was directed by Eldon Herd. The North-South winners were James Masilamani and Lois Jones, first; Harry Shaffer and Lynn Hui, second; Bobby Patton and Eleanor Patton, third; and Pat Lombardi and Donna Munson, fourth.

The East-West winners were Paul Heitzman and David Piro, first; Lois Clark and Catherine Blumenfeld, second; Emily Foster and Eldon Herd, third; and Carol Ball and Nita Scales tied in fourth with Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks.

The East-West winners were Craig Huneke and Jeremy Martin, first; Lynn Hui and Jeane Landry, second; James Masilamani and Paul Heitzman, third; and Adelaide Nyquist and Lois Clark, fourth.
