Lubbock, Texas ? Emily Powers’ third top-10 performance of the season led Kansas University’s women’s golf team to a seventh-place finish at the 14-team McHaney/Morehead Invitational at Rawls Course. KU shot a final-round 314 Tuesday to finish with 943 strokes. Arkansas-Little Rock won with 908.

Powers, a junior from Quincy, Ill., fired a third-round 74 to place seventh at 227. Sophomore Meghna Bal shot a 77 to place 32nd at 238.
