GOP to file complaint against Obama
October 6, 2008
Advertisement
Washington The Republican National Committee plans to file a fundraising complaint against Democrat Barack Obama's presidential campaign today, alleging it has accepted donations that exceed federal limits as well as illegal contributions from foreigners.
RNC officials acknowledged Sunday that they do not have a list of foreign donors to Obama's campaign. Instead, the complaint is based largely on media reports, including one from the conservative Web site Newsmax.
The complaint asks the Federal Elections Commission to audit Obama's campaign fund, RNC chief counsel Sean Cairncross said in a conference call with reporters.

Please. Maybe you should do the research before you trust Newsmax. It's highly possible that this is true, I suppose, but going with the pundit media for your leads is a bad sign.

Looks like the RNC is getting flustered. Come on, Republicans, take your defeat with dignity. McCain was a weak candidate and there just weren't enough people who were ignorant enough to be energized by Palin and not recognize her dangerous incompetence. The inevitable death of the GOP's primitive ideology is only going to be accelerated if all the party does is whine and b**ch for the next four years.

Disruption, distortion, distraction and desperation. Despicable tactics all, courtesy of the RNC and McCain. McCain apparently forgot he's the candidate who so infamously stated the American people were tired of the politics of hate and promised not to run that kind of campaign.
Would McCain endorse (at least publicly) the asinine characterization of Obama and Biden promoted by you and your ilk?

The fact Obama turned down public money after scolding the other Dem runners about accepting special interests $$$, after he originally said he would take it should have been a red flag this guy is the same-old-same-old he rails against with his bullsh*t “change” mantra. He lifted his campaign spending caps by doing this, something that has not been done by a pres. nominee in 35 years. Then he proceeds to rake it in from special interest like no other. It shows he is a smart politician…..but again, “change”? Where? And the far-left are so love-struck they either don't care and are making a “one-time exception” or are just willfully ignorant of the real picture….or just stupid.

“Does the President have a secret Swiss bank account” - if you read this headline without reading the article, which then goes on to suggest that actually the reporter found no evidence to that effect, it wouldn't matter. The idea is placed in people's heads and in two months they will ask, “Didn't I read something about a secret Swiss bank account?” forgetting the details. Having no proof but filing a complaint nonetheless is what the RNC is all about. Since 12% of our population still believe that Obama is Muslim, it is no wonder they are pulling this stunt as well.

So autie is resonating Obama's view of America as not a great country–one that needs overhauling–-a classic far-left, secular-progressive viewpoint. Not impressed. And whether I said I'd high-tail it outta here or not, maybe I will and maybe I won't. I think the American people will right this the listing ship that Obama will be at the helm of. Hell, pay the healthcare, my wife and I will just do more pre-tax investing, and beat the liberals at their game–again. If that's the worst Obama does, I'll be surprised. Again, in any event, I'm ready, are you? You down and outers are gonna be more down and out with Obama as your president–-bet on it. Obama is a fraud, and his own party will launch a jihad on him before his four years is up.

indeed, Newsmax ain't the best source!
ya' know Tom, they're crying hypocrisy.
what's really hypocrisy: if a republican or republican white politician had been in a church for twenty years, given scores of thousands of dollars to that church, and the congregation were so hate-filled, racist, and headed by such a white equivalent to Rev. Wright. that politician would be toast in five seconds.
in the '90s, Barney Frank, on the banking committee (as it was called then) had a long-term homosexual relationship with manager at *Fannie* Mae whom he was to be providing oversight and regulatory management for! that's when this mess we're in started, and Barney Frank even fought against Bill Clinton's attempt to draw the line on FM…Clinton's own words!
real hypocrisy, eh Tom?
