Lawrence resident named to state board
Jessica Schwartz, Lawrence, was appointed to the Kansas Statewide Independent Living Council by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius.
The council advocates for the implementation of a state plan for independent living that ensures an inclusive community enabling Kansans to live in the environment of their choice.
