The Lawrence Sister Cities Advisory Board will have a community fund-raising event from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the Williams House, 700 Calif.

The group will raise money for the scholarship fund that assists youths participating in student exchanges with Lawrence’s sister cities, Eutin, Germany, and Hiratsuka, Japan.

The event is open to the public. Evan Williams catering will serve appetizers and drinks. Entry is $50.
