Sooner bolts

One national writer dubbed Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford and Manuel Johnson as “arguably the nation’s most electrifying pass-catch duo” after Bradford threw for a personal-best 411 yards and Johnson produced a school-record 206 yards receiving with three touchdowns in the Sooners’ 35-10 victory over TCU.

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s Virginia Tech game after defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was called for a late hit on Virginia Tech QB Tyrod Taylor. Pelini was heard calling an official a, uh, disrespectful name while arguing the call.
