Malibu, Calif. — Danielle Gant scored 14 points, including two late free throws to help Texas A&M (5-0) win a first-round game in the Timeout 4 HIV/AIDS Tournament and remain undefeated. Texas A&M blew a 15-point lead.

No. 6 Baylor 62, Villanova 57

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — Jessica Morrow scored 13 of her 17 points in the first half, and Baylor edged Villanova in the Paradise Jam.

No. 25 Iowa State 75, Prairie View A&M 59

Honolulu — Alison Lacey had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead Iowa State in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic.

No. 3 California 68, Texas Tech 54

St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands — Ashley Walker scored 30 points to help California rout Texas Tech at the Paradise Jam tournament. Cal (5-0) has won its first five games for only the second time in school history.
