The Lawrence school board is seeking public input on its search for a new superintendent.

An online survey is available at the school district’s Web site, www.usd497.org. Anyone also can download a “leadership profile assessment form” at the Web site that can be mailed before Dec. 10, which is the deadline for completed surveys and public input.

Individuals and community groups may also attend two public sessions to offer comments to the search firm Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates Ltd. at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 or 11 a.m. Dec. 10 at school district headquarters, 110 McDonald Drive.

Superintendent Randy Weseman has announced he will retire at the end of the school year.
