A 42-year-old man pleaded no contest Friday in Douglas County District Court to two sex crime charges.
Guy Drum entered no-contest pleas to aggravated indecent liberties with a child and attempted aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Prosecutors allege the offenses occurred in July 2007 in Douglas County.
He originally faced two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Drum’s sentencing is scheduled for January. He faces at least three years in prison for the aggravated indecent liberties conviction.

He will not get “at least” 3 years on this. Prosecutors in Douglas county do not know how to do their jobs and judges dont know what to do with them. My bet is he will get what all the other losers get in this county and thats 60 days in jail and some probation, sent back to the same worthless therapists and group therapy and go live in East Lawrence. He will get a slap on the wrists and sent home on probation after serving 60 days to go after children again. I dont know why LJworld even posts these things except so the community can be aware there is a predator in the neighborhood. I hope tongie spreads flyers with his info from the KBI website all over town so at least the info is out there and they can keep their children safe. There are too many out there that cover for these people saying they have a mental problem or therapy can fix them. Wake up and face the facts that your family member or friend is a predator and let them know this is not tolerated in our communities. Thanks mom for letting me know about this article. Ya know I had to say something. B

Buggie7 this man lives in Baldwin not Tongie… Also, I know that you may think that he will not get any time… but, I have seen many sexual predator's in Lawrence given 3 years to 12 years. I really hope that the courts have not turned their backs on the children of Lawrence.
