Danielle Gant scored 15 points and Takia Starks added 13 to help Texas A&M hold off Michigan.

Tyra White added 12 points for Texas A&M (3-0). Jessica Minnfield scored 14 points to lead Michigan (1-2) and Krista Phillips added 13.

The Aggies got off to a slow start, shooting just 28 percent and letting Michigan build a 30-26 lead.
