A Chicago-based artist will come to Lawrence next month to find submissions for his project “Before I Die I Want To …”

KS Rives will be in Lawrence Dec. 5. He and Nicole Kenney, who lives in New York, have created the project. They take a Polaroid photo of an person and then ask them to write their goal to accomplish before they die.

So far, they’ve collected submissions from New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Boston, among others. Their goal is to e-mail participants in several years to ask them if they have accomplished their goal. They also would like to make a book out of the pictures and goals.
