Jim Adams and David Lewis received Eagle Scout awards at a joint Court of Honor on Oct. 30 at Camp Bromelsick. Adams and Lewis reached their Eagle rank in Boy Scout Troop 64, Eudora. The young men joined Troop 64 in 2001 from Cub Scout Pack 3064, Eudora. For their Eagle service projects, Lewis planted trees and shrubs at two city parks in Eudora, and Adams built a protective fence around the air-conditioning system at Hesper Friends Church, south of Eudora. Troop 64 is chartered to the Eudora Lions Club.
