The North-South winners were Mark Osborne and Gary Joyce, first in A and B; Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard, second in A; Suzanne Wassmer and Wanda Durbin, third in A and second in B; Lois Clark and Lester Dalton, fourth in A and third in B; Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor, fourth in B; and Earle Core and Albert Ballard, first in C.
The East-West winners were Eldon Herd and Polly Schoning, first in A and B; Nita Scales and Carol Ball, second in A and B; Paul Heitzman and David Piro, third in A; Shari Krentzel and Mary Mertz, fourth in A and third in B; Dick Shaffer and Ann Thompson, first in C; and Bobby Patton and Eleanor Patton, second in C.

The North-South winners were John Fittell and Kent McCullough, first in A and B, Harry Shaffer and Lynn Hui, second in A and B; Lois Clark and Catherine Blumenfeld, third in A and B; Mary Fenlon and Lester Dalton, fourth in A and B.
The East-West winners were Jeane Landry and James Masilamani, first in A; David Piro and Paul Heitzman, second in A; Bobby Patton and Ed Howard, third in A; Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell, fourth in A and first in B; Polly Schoning and Dianne Childs, second in B; and Don Daugherty and Harry Talley, third in B and first in C.

The Sunday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Nov. 9 utilized the Howell movement and was directed by Chris Lane. After 28 boards of competition, there was a four-way tie for first place between Ed Howard and Bobby Patton, Julia Dalton and Lester Dalton, Hailong Dao and Jeff Mermin and Chris Lane and Grant Sutton.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Nov. 10 was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South winners were Donna Johnson and James Masilamani, first in A; Harry Shaffer and Grant Sutton, second in A and first in B; Eldon Herd and Mary Fenlon tied for third in A with Terry Tolar and Jambo Zhang, who also placed second in B and first in C; and Emily Foster and Albert Ballard, second in C.
The East-West winners were John Fittell and Adelaide Nyquist, first in A, B and C; David Piro and Paul Heitzman, second in A; Ed Howard and Jeff Mermin, third in A; Steve Vossler and David Leitch, fourth in A; and Shari Krentzel and Donald Bush, second in B.

Kaw Valley Quilters’ Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Monday and at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the meeting room at Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vt.

University Bridge Club announces results of its Nov. 8 meeting. Hosts were Willie Stoltenberg, Bebe Huxtable and Mary Jo Spotts.
Blue winners were Richard Quinn, first; Roz Zimmerer, second; Paul Jordan, third; Mary Jo Spotts, fourth; and Virginia Williams, fifth.

P.E.O. Chapter GQ will have a social meeting on Nov. 23. At 1 p.m., members will decorate a Christmas tree. At 5 p.m., members and their spouses will have a soup supper. Hostess will be Lois Capps. The program “Women Helping Women Reach For the Stars” will be presented by Karen Warner. Members will also celebrate their Festival of Trees entry.
