Haskell women’s hoops trips, 66-60, to Ottawa

Kortney Smith scored 20 points off 7-of-20 shooting and dished five assists in Haskell’s 66-60 women’s basketball loss to Ottawa on Wednesday night.

Maria Parker had 12 points and eight boards for Haskell, which fell to 2-2.

“We were down 18 in the second half and cut it to six. We were too far behind,” said Haskell coach Phil Homeratha. “We had a good run. It was one of those games away from home. We’ll be OK.”

Haskell (2-2) will play host to Kansas Wesleyan on Saturday night.
