Five of the granite stones to mark the historic spots about Lawrence have been put in place. Notable houses, offices and farming-industrial sites are the first to be so marked. More such moves are planned soon. . . .

Girls in Dr. Hyde’s physiology class at the university have been studying bread and the scientific principles in producing it and they have shown their teachers they can clearly cook well. Many on the campus are now engaged in breadmaking to the delight of people who love to eat it.
