Maria Parker scored 26 points and had five rebounds and three blocks, and Haskell Indian Nations University defeated St. Mary, 59-55, in women’s college basketball on Tuesday night at Coffin Complex.

Nicole Nebitsi scored eight points, and Justina George and Kortney Smith added seven points apiece for the Indians.

Haskell erased a four-point deficit in the final two minutes.

The Indians (2-1) will play tonight at Ottawa.
