The National Weather Service has canceled a severe thunderstorm watch for Douglas County that was to be in effect until midnight

The weather service says a storm capable of producing large hail was moving through the area. Other counties impacted by the warning include Leavenworth, Jefferson, Shawnee and Franklin.
