Professional group adds new member
Douglas County Connections recently announced the addition of a new member, Chuck Folks, owner of Advanced Plumbing Inc., in Lawrence.
Folks specializes in service repairs, remodels and new construction. He has been a plumber since 1993 and opened his own business in 2008.
Douglas County Connections is a group of local professionals dedicated to the promotion and growth of the businesses owned and operated by DCC members.
The group meets from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. every Wednesday at First Southern Baptist Church, 4300 W. Sixth St. Membership is limited to one business representative per profession.
