Roberts Tops Field: Conrad Roberts fired a 2-under-par 70 and won Saturday’s Jayhawk Golf Club tournament at Alvamar by six strokes over Bud Stagg and Robert Werling. In net scoring, Mike Farve and Tom Taylor were low, each with a 67. Keith Wallace carded a 69.

HyVee Kids Klub: Current Kansas University basketball players and the K.C. Pump N Run coaching staff will preside over the HyVee Kids Klub free basketball clinic at 1 p.m. June 7 at Free State High. The clinic is limited to the first 150 youths who pre-register at either city HyVee store.

Nash Dash: The Nash Dash, an 8K and mile fun run, will be May 31 on the Kansas River trails. It’s a fund-raiser for WRAP, which places mental-health professionals from the Bert Nash Center into Lawrence and area schools. Campbell Hole in One: William Campbell used an 8-iron to ace the 85-yard No. 8 hole at the Orchards on May 17. Campbell’s sisters, Nancy Byers and Susan Noon, were witnesses.

Swope Hole in One: Phillip Swope used his driver for a double-eage ace May 19 on the 317-yard No. 5 hole at Orchards. Jay Rhodes and Steve Olson were witnesses.
